Topsail Beach Homes

Located at the southern tip of Topsail Island, the town of Topsail Beach is considered the smallest of the three towns on the island. Residents have access to shopping centers, a variety of restaurants, and active nightlife.

History of Topsail Beach

Topsail Island originated during the 1700's when pirate ships used the coastline to roam and hide their ships. Ptirates would use the channels to hide and wait for passing cargo ships.  Eventually merchants caught on to this and kept watch for pirate sails showing over the hills, giving it the name Topsail Island.
